Travel Altar: New Pictures

The travel altar is  working out better than I expected!  It’s still top heavy, but I’m managing to compensate for that.  I now tuck a special mirror inside along with my Netivot prayer beads. It lives in my carry on bag, and since I’ve been on the road a ton, it’s getting a lot of use.  The mirror I love because it’s just so evocative to me of both Jewish women and being a Kohenet.  That’s the Kohenet sigil on the left and my own sigil or cipher on the right.

This photo is also now the background image on my phone which is creating a whole new definition for me of  travel altar.  It’s kind of awesome to see it every time I pick up my phone.  Another good digital spiritual tool in this age of gadgetry.

The picture was taken at a hotel in NYC on a recent trip.
