PunkTorah Parsha Mashups
My friend Patrick over at PunkTorah has had a stroke of genius. Seriously. I am someone who loves a good mashup of pop culture and serious spirituality (Pop-Culture Psalmists anyone?), so this new video series is right up my alley. But truly, the genius is that it really gets you to think about the weekly torah portions in way that is fun and engaging — which is the way it SHOULD be!!!

Mini Manifesto:
Spirituality: My primary lens is progressive Jewish spirituality, but I also like to find the universal elements that connection us all.
Culture: I am fascinated by both culture on most levels. I mostly focus on American culture and what makes us who we are as a country, but I'm also intrigued by sub-cultures in the USA and the growing global cultural trends.
Technology: Technology is one of the strongest drivers of cultural and even spiritual changes in the last 100 years, and possibly the next 100.
