  1. So I was Googling around this morning to see if I could get some pointers on drying pomegranates (Eldritch and I have been cooking up some ideas) and look where I wound up!

So… a few questions. Did you continue to dry the fruit whole? How long did it take? Did you have any trouble with molding or rotting of the outside? Do you still have this pretty little guy around, nearly two years later? Do the seeds shake around in there and make music?

    I love pomegranates. :)

  2. I continued to dry the whole fruit. It seems that they still hold some moisture even after more than a year. Only once did I have any mold problems. I have 1/2 dozen that have been drying for more than a year and look great. I cut one open and it still had some moisture inside. For the first couple of months you need to keep an eye on them and turn them from time to time.

No rattle that I've seen so far. Maybe after they've been drying for a few years!! :) Look for the sale poms, it's the best deal for drying them.
