Harvest Henna

My friend Nicole is an amazing witch who works in Henna, as well as other things. She did this gorgeous harvest-themed henna on my arm the other night while we were just sitting around.

My work life has been so busy it’s been hard to focus on the journey of Elul, although I guess that’s part of the journey. Having this gorgeous work of harvest art on my arm reminds me that I’m Ketzirah whether or not the people around me know to call me that and that there is no such thing as a part-time priestess.

I also like that this will fade away over the next couple of weeks, as we approach Rosh Hashanah, like a count down.
