Three Three-line Poems

Back in May I took a trip to Yellowstone Park. It was amazing beyond words, but I resort to words none-the-less.

Here are three three-line poems I wrote on that trip.

The Raven
I saw a raven soar.
I saw a raven dip and dive,
And race across the sky.

The Springs
Fire and water steam.
Earth and air a sulphur smell,
Breathe in and be well.

Untitled
Deep in the mire,
The Earth doth conspire
To regain her empire.
– inspired by “The Paint Pot” geysers
