Love that aeclectic.net tarot newsletter. Here are my favorites this month. Some I’d use for various workings and meditation. Some I think are just interesting or pretty!
Eternal Dream Tarot
This images in this deck are really unique and quite haunting. I’d be curious to see if the whole deck is dark or if it has moments of humor and joyfullness. I do think I’d love to use it for meditations and storyworking. I’m not sure if I’d use it for readings. It doesn’t appear to be for sale — I’ll keep an eye on it and see if it finds a publisher.

New Palladini Tarot
I really liked the strength of these images. They are bold and powerful. I do wonder, again, if the whole deck is dark or if it gets more joyfull when appropriate. I really like good balance in my tarot decks. I think I like this deck more for the art than as a tool for actual working.

Ukiyoe Tarot
I have a Japanese friend who mentioned an interest in tarot to me. When I saw this deck, I had to explore it further. I wouldn’t use it, except for the artwork, because the images don’t “ring” for me. But I thought it was an interesting way to explore the language of Japanese art with tarot.

Gypsy Witch Fortune Telling Cards
I’ve seen the cover of this deck before and just walked by. Now that I can see the cards, I kind of like them. Again, hard to say if I’d use it as a tool for working or meditation. I would definitely like to use this for mixed-media artwork and it might be fun for rituals where everyone gets a card as a message.
