Jews: Lose the Paranoia About Evangelicals
Beliefnet continues to amaze me. The daily Torah and Jewish Wisdom newsletter regularly sends me to articles about Christianity. I think it must be edited by a computer that sees the word Jew in an article. This one takes the cake. I actually was irritated enough to write to Beliefnet and complain. Two days in a row the subject of the email was “Jews: Lose the Paranoia About Evangelicals.” I choked on it the first day — but two days in a row.
My response to this is not to unsubscribe — but to stay on the list and keep complaining every time they pull this. I also get a Hindu newsletter (I’m currently exploring ties between the two religions), and they never reference Christians or tell Hindus why they should admire Muslims.
If I were paranoid, I’d think it was on purpose.
