   At this point in the embroidery, the serpent is in the court of Hashem, listening as he says, “consider my servant, Hava.” ; )

   that’s about right. in my view the snake is long gone, and it’s now in her hands. It’s the first human decision. — here’s my “drash” on this:

   Chava Decides
   This is my decision. This is my first decision.
   Do I eat and allow my mind and body to grow,
   Knowing it will bring death into the world…
   Or live in ignorance?

   I just finished C.S. Lewis’ book, Perelandra. If you can find a copy I think you’d enjoy it wuite a bit. It centers around this conversation.
