I’ve gotten several seekers reaching out to me lately, so I wanted to see who if anyone would be interested in a practical Jewitchery class? I’ve been mulling several formats both on and off-line, but I wanted to know what the interest level is before doing this and what you’d hope to get out of it. I could do both an in-person and a guided self study/teleconference for those not in the DC area. I’d rather do this as a multi-part class, instead of a couple of hours one afternoon, but I know that can be hard to arrange sometimes so it may need to be a one-time deal with a part two or three in the future.
The class would be framed around the most common question I get, which is “how do I create a practice that is true for me?” Usually people either know the Jewish stuff or the witch stuff, and are trying to put them together. That’s what this class would be about. There would be required reading and assignments, but nothing would be “graded.”
If it’s a workshop (i.e. 2-4 hours on one day) there would still be the same framework, but the work would be done in a far more solitary fashion on your own afterwards or online in a group or community.
I’m currently thinking of starting mid-August, or holding off until after DC Pagan Pride Week, which is the second week of September. I do charge for classes, but the cost is usually quite minimal, and I have no problem with sliding scales.
So speak up — either email me or comment to let me know your thoughts.

I would be interedted in knowing if you decide to do this workshop/class. I don't know for sure that I will be able to attend but will try my best if you get something set up.(btw- thank you for emailing me back yesterday… I will look into the group you suggested)
Hi Carly,I'd be interested in your class if you do something on-line. I think it'd be interesting to do something participatory with other Jewitches, just to exchange views and see how others think about the issues.
