I experimented with a couple of things. I ended up using fuseable webbing (i.e. stitch witch) for the main piece and then fabric glue for the ribbon edge.
ZOMG! That's the greatest evarrrr! I've been making altoid shrines as well as altoid worship cases. Currently I'm running with votive, buddhist rosary, altoid sized meditation texts, etc.
Man, that totally makes me wish I could embroider!
I work with individuals and groups to explore, discover, and create meaningful rituals and ritual artwork to mark moments in life-- from personal moments and holiday celebrations to weddings, baby namings, and life transitions. I also provide guidance and spiritual companionship to those in need on their spiritual journeys.
This is very cute! How is it attached to the Altoids tin — glue gun?

Paul,
I remember that you mentioned you were making Altoid shrines! Do you have a link with pictures anywhere?
Embroidery is actually really easy, if you start with simple stitches!
They are just lovely. But I hope you are not emptying those tins yourself if you are Kosher. Altoids have gelatin.
